We must admit that when the world started shutting down because of COVID-19, we were reading as much news as we could get our hands on. We soon realised that reading the news all day did not help us feel our best or help us sleep well.
So we decided that we needed to boost our spirits and keep morale high. We made a point to keep up with a daily matcha ritual no matter what. It is a moment of mindfulness in our day where we focus on what we are grateful for and where we feel one with nature. It has helped us tremendously.
If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete.
